Disney Infinity 3.0 Toy Box Speedway review
Toy Box Speedway is the second Toy Box Expansion Game for Disney Infinity 3.0. It’s a racing game where you’ll race in vehicles and on tracks inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. Every single character from 1.0 to 3.0 are compatible with this game. Toy Box Speedway is great for showcasing the game’s improved driving mechanics.
The premise of Toy Box Speedway is simple. Race past opponents and obstacles and take first place. Following the Disney Infinity tradition of playing without limits, you can mix and match characters and vehicles. You can race as Stitch in Tony Stark’s sports car, Venom on a Speeder Bike, Han Solo on Bing Bong’s Wagon, or whatever your imagination makes up. You’ll race on tracks inspired by Aladdin, Big Hero 6, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars, and more. This game defiantly feels reminiscent to Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing, thanks to Sumo Digital’s help, tweaking the drifting mechanics and making vehicles more controllable. You can also connect online and race with your friends.
Toy Box Speedway is so much fun and great for any racing game fan. I’m hoping possibly in the future, they add more tracks and more vehicles to drive. I’d like to see a Radiator Springs track and some more Disneyland vehicles.
