Pokemon Go review
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Pokemon were in our world? Ever wanted to be a Pokemon Trainer for real? Now you can live the Pokemon fantasy with the app, Pokemon Go. In Pokemon Go, you are encouraged to walk around to find Pokemon in your area, join a team, contribute and fight in gyms, and hatch eggs.
When getting started, you get to customize your avatar, who shows your location. You also get to pick one of three starter Pokemon, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, or Charmander. After that, you are free to go exploring and find new Pokemon. The professor will help you out by explaining what everything does. As you walk, you can stop by Pokestops, which give you important items. Sometimes, you can find eggs. Eggs contain powerful Pokemon, but you need to walk and incubate them first. Eggs have different distances. 2 km eggs are common and have small Pokemon in them. 5 km eggs are uncommon and usually hold unique Pokemon. 10 km eggs are rare and have strong Pokemon in them. You’ll also find Gyms, which you can take over, fight or train with powerful Pokemon, or contribute your Pokemon to your team’s gym.
While it does have some problems like server issues and battery draining, I enjoy this game a lot. I find myself walking more and getting fresh air. If you are a fan of Pokemon, you will most likely enjoy this game. Yes, I did hear about the security scare a few weeks ago. Do not worry. It’s not as bad as everyone says. 1. The developer of the game is owned by Google and 2. They updated the security on it too. So good luck catching them all.
